This weekend the weather is looking like a high of 90 and low of 81...like I said it's perfect beach weather. Just make sure to look out Sunday for the isolated thunderstorms when you're heading home. But don't worry too much it's only 30% chance.

Slip on the board shorts and wax your boards for this weekend. Surf is going to waist to chest high (2-3ft.) @ 6 seconds, and only only semi-choppy, all weekend with winds blowing in from the SE at about 10-20mph.

As for all you fishermen...or women (don't want to exclude anybody), there has been many redfish and jack crevalle that have been caught and sited. The moonphase is Waxing Crescent. And is you are considering offshore you be prepared for a bumpy ride as it's fairly choppy out there.

At night time make a drive into the city to visit Brewsters Ice House to see JB and THE MOONSHINE BAND at 9 p.m. If country isn't your genre of choice make it over to the VIP Tejano Club to see 2 Chains live in concert for the first time ever in Corpus Christi.

If you're looking for something more quiet to do at night. Head over to one of three movie theatres in Corpus Christi to see the hit movies (such as Iron Man 3, Fast and Furious 6, The Great Gatsby, etc.)
